Who I am

Meowfish is a dog walking and pet sitting business run by Sam. I am responsible for the personal information you share through this website. You can contact me at hello@meowfish.co.uk.

What I collect

When you send a booking enquiry, I collect your name, email address, phone number, home address, and details about your pets and the dates you need care.

This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The booking form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical details of your browser to make sure enquiries come from real people.

Why I use it

I use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide and arrange pet care. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

I never sell your information or share it for marketing.

Who helps me

A few trusted companies process your details on my behalf, only to run this website and my email: Cloudflare (website hosting and the security check), Resend (sends enquiry and confirmation emails, from servers in Ireland) and Zoho (my email inbox, stored in the EU). Each is bound by a data processing agreement.

How long I keep it

If you don't become a client, I delete your enquiry within 6 months. Client records are kept for as long as you use my services and for up to 6 years afterwards for tax and insurance purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you by emailing me. If you're unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
